A Display of Time, 2021

 

A collaborative film combining animation by myself and sound by Cai Davies. Together we selected items from the British Museum Archive Collection, to be placed on a mantelpiece. Using 3D computer modelling software to re-create the objects visually, and manipulating sound footage related to the objects, through analogue technology to create new sounds. Reconditioning everyday observations by fusing the audio and the visual together creating a multi sensory experience. The film uses everyday things in the world to represent the passing of time.
